About

I’ve been doing art of some kind most of my life. My dream as a teenager was to be a portrait artist on the streets of New Orleans. As with most youthful dreams, that didn’t happen. I did pursue a degree in Fine Arts, but after marriage and a family, found little time to pursue my artwork.

I managed to utilize my artistic skill in my career and worked as a Graphic Artist for many years. I carried that skill to next level and now work as a Web Designer. It’s just been in the last few years that I have been able to return to the drawing and painting that I always loved. An avid music fan, I began a series of portraits of musicians for my subjects. Music and art lift my spirit and make life a little sweeter in difficult times. I’ve worked in just about every medium, but lately have done most of my paintings in acrylic.

I hope you will enjoy viewing these “faces of music” as much I’ve enjoyed creating them and that they might spark some pleasant memory in you. It’s so great to be a part of this wonderful website. I hope to have time to produce a lot more as I am getting ready to retire!
